Simple everyday objects easily transformed into new tools, with a conceptual operation open to the contribution of the participants.

The Ready Made workshop investigates the multiple connotations of the use of objects that can be reinterpreted outside the context for which they are created, arriving at surprising new aesthetic or functional results.

The meaning that today is commonly assigned to the term ready-made is that of re-use, through the activation of a new real, technical, symbolic or virtual function, retracing the path of Italian masters such as Castiglioni, Magistretti, and Aulenti who with their products have marked the path of the ready-made.

IMPORTANT: To participate in this event it is necessary to book on Matera Events or at the info point of Matera 2019. Remember to bring your passport and the booking receipt.
